Gathering Young Catholic Professionals from across Ireland to connect and share in our common faith.

Sainthood at work. Discussing relevant topics such as discipleship in day to day life and how to share your faith with others.

Putting the rest in restoration on a weekend by the sea! this weekend will be break away from work – prayer, sacraments and social.

What To Expect

Knockadoon has a quiet chapel where we will pray together (Eucharistic exposition, Divine office) and celebrate Holy Mass.

The camp has cliff walks, large indoor spaces to sit and chat, a football field and even a pier for those willing to brave the cold for sea swim!

Speakers on the most relevant topics for young working professionals in Ireland, with time for discussion.

There will be a significant religious presence, including Dominicans priests and brothers, Servidora sisters (SSVM) and Diocesan!

Finer Details

The retreat aims to gather those who are young professionals up to age 35.

The retreat starts Friday 7th evening with dinner and social at 6:30pm (you can arrive after this also). The retreat will end with lunch on Sunday afternoon at 2pm.

90 euro is the cost for everything except transport. All food and bedding provided.

Lumen Christi Student Retreat

The Lumen Christi retreat for college students around all-Ireland (including those entering in September and having left college this year) is a five-day retreat to help relax and rejuvenate for the new college year! It features both intellectual and spiritual formation, without being academic; liturgical encounter, without being overwhelming; fraternity and recreation, without being superficial.

Moreover, both the Dominican Sisters and the Brothers will be there! Aided by the beautiful location, the desire is for all of us to leave refreshed and reinvigorated by the light of Christ to enter not only into another academic year, but to enter more deeply into the will of God for the rest of our lives.

Dates: 10th – 14th of August 2025

Location: Knockadoon Camp, Co. Cork

Full Cost including Food and Accommodation €120
